Arranged roughly in chronological order, with the newer stuff at the top.

Concert chanter in palosanto, imitation ivory and nickel silver with C and F key.

Concert set in ebony, English box and brass.  Chanter by Peter, rest of set by Sam. Made for promising young piper Paddi Benson.

Very early Hunter set which is the work of 3 people; Peter Hunter, Pat Handley (who made the keys and owns the set) and now myself who finished it off with a few mounts and suchlikes.  This set was made famous at a Tionól in Bettystown when a certain famous piper picked it up at 1.30am in an empty room.  At 3am the room was packed and the impromptu performance was later notated in An Píobaire - including the notation of the drones which were stopped and started on the bag at will . . .

Half set in C; ebony, sterling silver and moose antler.

K. Pádraig O'Kane's Concert chanter in palosanto and brass with English boxwood mounts.

K. Pádraig O'Kane's B chanter with boxwood mounts.  Hear it

Full set C# with concert chanter (also seen below this picture) in their new case.  I can arrange the supply of a similar or smaller fitted case for around £300 (when bought with a set of pipes).

C# full set with 5 mounted drones in palosanto and English box.  Note the very large bore swan neck to closely imitate tying the chanter directly into the bag.

Old Peter Hunter chanter (body and mounts) with recently added keys and cap; widebore D in African blackwood and brass.

C chanter in palosanto, English boxwood and brass with 2 keys, F nat and G#.

3/4 set in palosanto, imitation ivory and brass, 2 key chanter.

Eb flute, copy of a Besson.  English boxwood and brass with wooden screw arrangement on the bung.

Poor quality picture of C chanter and Eb chanter in palosanto and sterling silver.

An A chanter in ebony and brass, the first A chanter made by us, with the elusive Clancy / Moloney A in mind.  Works great with D drones and regs but a fair old stretch!

I think this is the best bass bar bracket I've done, very tight to the stock and unobtrusive and classy.

Full set in B, ebony box and brass. Some tapered ferrules on bass drone.  Bag by Laurence Thompson.

C chanter in ebony box and sterling silver (top) and 2 key concert chanter in ebony imitation ivory and brass

7 key B chanter, ebony, imitation ivory and brass

B 3/4 4 mounted set in ebony box and brass

"Poshed up" widebore "stick" chanter - 1980's or early 90's Hunter with no cap or mounts and one key in Sri Lankan ebony, now with wooden cap 4 keys and English box mounts and fully checked over.  If you have a Hunter "stick" it will cost you about £350 for it to have a similar experience.

Half set "busking stick" chanter, palosanto English boxwood and brass.

Full set in C#, palosanto imitation ivory and brass.  Can be heard on the sounds page.

Full concert pitch set with medium bore and wide bore concert chanters.

Cap for C# in African blackwood, English box and nickel silver

5 key B chanter, cocobolo, Coyne style - this has been around for ages but not photographed.  Look how dark the cocobolo goes with time.  Can be heard on the sounds page

B Bass regulator detail, inteference fit hand rolled brass tubing.  Hard work!

3/4 set with a narrow bore concert chanter.  This is the concert chanter design which can be heard on the Donal Lunny live album - the "busking stick".

Top quality B 3/4 set with Coyne style chanter, ebony and brass.  Truly lovely pipes.  Tone, tone and more tone!  Chanter can be heard on the sounds page

Note brass fronted stock below.

Half set in B before it was a 3/4 set - detail
