Wide Bore
3/4 set Lignum with narrow
bore regulators here, if
only
there was a good piper here to play them. . . .
The clip is to get an idea of how the narrow bore regs sit with the
volume of the concert chanter, an accompaniment not a shouting match .
. ignore my wonky bag pressure please.

Some clips
recorded whilst tinkering. Excuse bad playing esp with
regs. Cocobolo
chanter
with Vera wood drones, great harsh E 3/4 set
in Vera
wood "busking stick" chanter
as
before with
baritone drone off - easier to hear regs
If you want to play in A major you could do worse than one of these
(Busking Stick
from above set)
Some more of a concert chanter in ebony. Thanks to Tim Benson for these Gan Ainm

Quick recording warts and all of concert chanter in ebony
Here
is a clip of a 17 key Northumbrian Small Pipe chanter made by
Peter some
time ago. He made one prototype, never even keyed it, and then
cracked
out this belting chanter.
If you want one of these, then tough. Too fiddly!! All
Mp3's are
less than 1meg.
